It’s all giggles for NBC’s Al Roker and his crew as they cover the momentous flooding in South Carolina today. Look, they even have time for a selfie! Smile and say cheese:

After getting called out, Roker deleted the tweet and apologized:

Absolutely correct. I apologize for being insensitive. The woman in that car got out without injury. We Should not have been in the picture

It’s not that you were in the picture, Al. Newscasters are literally in the picture on nearly every shot. It’s offensive because you and your crew were smiling in the picture!
