Oops: Michael Morse of the San Francisco Giants now fact-checking the Washington Post

The Washington Post accidentally used an old photo of a sad Nationals team from 2012 in its report on Washington’s Friday-night 3-2 loss to the San Francisco Giants. Note “Postseason 2012” prominently displayed on the dugout in the above picture.

But it gets more embarrassing for the Post…

Michael Morse, now with the Giants, was on the Nationals in 2012 and is in the picture used by the Post (Morse is the one leaning on the bat).

Maybe the Post editors were up too late watching their team lose?
