According to the article, the district is worried that kids will get Covid in school and then kill their parents:

"We believe that the best form of teaching our scholars is having them f-2-f, but we also understand that if we send sick kids home, it is a chance that those kids could become orphans. And I think that is just too high of a price to pay at this time." https://t.co/dz1zoX3D2J

Of course, this isn’t how kids are getting Covid and they’re more likely to get it at home but that doesn’t seem to matter to these education experts:

Exit question: Where is Michael Moore on this?

When we see a widening gap between poor (predominantly minority) and wealthy students in a few years, it won’t have been caused by systemic racism or a lack of resources. It will have been due to an intentional choice by liberal bureaucrats to put unions first, kids last.
