CovidTests.gov — the website to order four free at-home Covid tests — is now live:
I just went on the federal government's website to order 4 free COVID tests. It let me place an order, even though it's not supposed to go live until tomorrow.

The official launch date is still tomorrow, but you can order tests right now:

It was a pretty painless process to order the tests and now we wait to see when they actually get shipped:

According to the White House, the website is in the “beta phase” to find any glitches:
In response, a WH official said https://t.co/8o335qCSsN is currently in its beta phase, "which means that the website is operating at limited capacity ahead of its official launch."

Well, they’ve learned at least one lesson from the launch of HealthCare.gov:
The official called this "standard practice to address troubleshooting and ensure as smooth of an official launch tomorrow as possible."
The website is expected to officially launch mid-morning on Wednesday.
