The official POTUS Twitter account wants everyone to know that there is a “federal solution” to Covid after all:
My Administration has the back of every governor fighting COVID-19 in their state. Last week, I rolled out a federal plan to tackle Omicron by adding vaccination and booster capacity, hospital equipment, staff, and more.
We’re going to get through this by working together.

This is obviously in response to the video clip yesterday where he said there is no federal solution:

It’s a messaging problem aggravated by a competence problem:
Biden is having a COVID messaging problem.
In the presidential campaign, Biden criticized Trump for not having a federal approach to countering COVID. As president, Biden then strangely admitted to not having a federal response either. He got criticized & then walked this back. pic.twitter.com/FzShwIzuDr

It should’ve been walked back *before* he went on vacation, but, alas. Here we are:
His handlers trying to walk back that whole "No federal solution" before Joe left for vacation Part II. https://t.co/Q1QuaqUpUF
