Democrat Stacey Abrams admitted a few minutes ago that she will not be the next governor of Georgia, but she refused to concede to her opponent, Secretary of State Brian Kemp:
.@staceyabrams says she's not "conceding" but acknowledges Kemp will be certified as the state's next governor, and there are not other legal options. #gapol

Um, not conceding a loss in a fair election is what erodes our democracy:
.@staceyabrams "I will not concede because the erosion of our democracy is not right." #gapol

Although the sore loser thinks the election wasn’t fair:
.@StaceyAbrams: “More than 200 years into Georgia’s democratic experiment, the state failed its voters,” she said, talking of Kemp’s cancellation of voters who didn’t recently vote in elections. #gapol

Abrams: Long lines forced voters to “abandon democracy” because of long lines. “Ballots were rejected by the handwriting police. … Democracy failed Georgia.” #gapol
— Greg Bluestein (@bluestein) November 16, 2018
She invoked the story of Rep. Dan Gasaway, R-Homer, as an example of a candidate who fought to have every vote in his race counted with the court’s help.
A judge in September ordered a redo of a May election where Gasaway lost his party’s primary. #gapol

Abrams: "Voting is not a right for some. It's a right for all."
— Greg Bluestein (@bluestein) November 16, 2018
Her next step is to file some sort of federal lawsuit over the “gross mismanagement of this election”:
Recommended
"We will be filing a major federal lawsuit for the gross mismanagement of this election." #gapol

Not a good look for Dems, TBH:
This is what it looks like when you don’t actually care about this country at all. https://t.co/O1tdho7iXB

Libs, as you might expect, aren’t taking it well:
. @staceyabrams was robbed…the voters of Georgia were robbed…
— Kathy Griffin (@kathygriffin) November 16, 2018
And add Hillary Clinton to the list of those claiming the election wasn’t fair:
Hillary Clinton: "I know Stacey [Abrams] well – she was one of my really strong surrogates in the campaign. If she'd had a fair election, she already would have won." https://t.co/Y3wmlnHCBT pic.twitter.com/RlVLrkHFD0

They really don’t see the damage they’re doing, do they?
It’s one thing to dislike your opponents. It’s another to claim the elections are illegitimate. That is an incredibly serious claim. And is there any actual proof? https://t.co/EEoqNGat22
