And it gets worse: Larry Nassar charged with 6 new counts of sexual assault on a child while at Karolyi Ranch in TX

Former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar was charged with 6 additional counts of sexaul assault at the prestigious Karolyi Ranch training center in Huntsville, Texas:

Also charged was Debbie Van Horn, a former trainer at the facility:

According to NBC News, prosecutors cannot charge the Karolyis or officials from USA Gymnastics for failing to report the abuse because the statute of limitations has expired:

But prosecutors said there was no evidence of criminal wrongdoing by the Karolyis, and statutes of limitations prevented them from charging USA Gymnastics officials who didn’t immediately report suspected abuse to law enforcement.

That angered some Nassar victims who say the Karolyis and USA Gymnastics should be held accountable for failing to protect young athletes — some of them Olympic champions — who were under their supervision.
