She replied to CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski that it was a “joke”:
It's a joke-

But this one could leave a mark with people already asking if ABC will cancel her show over it:
. @ABC you're going to cancel her show for this insanely racist tweet, right? https://t.co/iLKjNs4UK6

Roseanne Barr on Valerie Jarrett.
I hope everyone who had a problem with Michelle Wolf’s WHCD routine shows the same level of outrage over this.
Because this is pretty f’ing disgusting. https://t.co/CxVM2uvVzL

Here’s Roseanne tweeting about Valerie Jarrett. Great job, @ABCNetwork! https://t.co/JKr2gVCQ2A

How in the world does @ABC & @Disney justify this?
Roseanne literally just said that Valerie Jarrett, who was Senior Advisor to President Obama, is like the Muslim Brotherhood & Planet of the Apes having a baby.
This is the gross normalization of bigotry in America. https://t.co/zPYE1nBGPA

I used to think there was no way they'd fire her but she just might make it happen. https://t.co/Vq5TvQcc4C

She also had to apologize to Chelsea Clinton after saying she was married to a relative of George Soros:

Good morning Roseanne – my given middle name is Victoria. I imagine George Soros’s nephews are lovely people. I’m just not married to one. I am grateful for the important work @OpenSociety does in the world. Have a great day! https://t.co/mXokiTEwN7

She followed up with a link from Snopes, inaccurately calling Clinton’s father-in-law a former senator. He was a congressman:
https://twitter.com/therealroseanne/status/1001457150344945664
And she went on to call George Soros a Nazi, but that’s not true either:
Sorry to have tweeted incorrect info about you!I Please forgive me! By the way, George Soros is a nazi who turned in his fellow Jews 2 be murdered in German concentration camps & stole their wealth-were you aware of that? But, we all make mistakes, right Chelsea?

From Snopes:
Billionaire leftist George Soros was neither an SS officer nor a Nazi collaborator during World War II:https://t.co/rN2MDvsm6T

Update: She’s deleted the tweet and apologized:
