Students are scheduled to return to classes tomorrow at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla. for the first time since last week’s shooting and Robert Runcie, Superintendent of the Broward County Public Schools has one simple request for the media: Hey, how about not flying your helicopters over the school all day long?
We are asking all media to not fly helicopters over Stoneman Douglas HS campus when students return and school is in session, out of respect for the students, teachers and parents who are making this request. Thank you for your consideration at this sensitive time. #MSDStrong
