As we told you earlier, Jake Tapper grilled Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel on his office’s piss-poor performance in handling the before, during and aftermath of last week’s shooting at Stoneman Douglas H.S. in Parkland, Fla.

Now, this is how the Sheriff Answered when Tapper asked, “do you think that if the Broward Sheriff’s Office had done things differently, this shooting might not have happened?”

Tapper’s response was pretty good:
