Quentin Tarantino just finished up a rambling acceptance speech at the Golden Globes for Ennio Morricone who won the Golden Globe for Best Original Score for his work on Tarantino’s “Hateful Eight” and is taking some heat for calling some composers who work on films “ghetto.”
Black folks are looking at Quentin like you have one more time to say "ghetto" because we know it's a euphemism for the N-word for you
— bevysmith (@bevysmith) January 11, 2016
Tarantino thinks he can say the N-word like five dozen time and talk about things being "ghetto."
NOPE. #GoldenGlobes

Quentin Tarentino: while you're on the pseudo front lines of protest, please chill on the use of "ghetto" & the n-word", too. #GoldenGIobes

@AScapp also, many ppl in the audience didn't seem to appreciate his "ghetto" comment

This is how these type of men and women talk about us at their dinner tables… "That's Ghetto". #QuentinTarantino #GlodenGlobes

Quentin Tarantino will probably deservingly get dragged a little for that 'ghetto' comment… #GoldenGlobes

Jamie Foxx looked peeved when he continued after the speech and is being heralded for calling Tarantino out:
Jamie Foxx the real MVP for calling out Tarantino's "ghetto" remark. #GoldenGlobes

Jamie Foxx calling OUT that ridiculous "ghetto" drop from Quentin Tarantino #GoldenGlobes
— Michaela Bethune (@m_beats) January 11, 2016
Jamie Foxx just simply and effectively called out Quentin Tarantino for using the racist term “ghetto.” Well done. #GoldenGlobes

"Ghetto." – Jamie Foxx, winning me back, #GoldenGlobes
— Chris Geidner (@chrisgeidner) January 11, 2016
Jamie Foxx little mad on Tarantino's "ghetto." Too late for that. Quentin must SCREAM the N word at the mirror everyday. #GoldenGlobes
— Ronald Rios (@ronaldrios) January 11, 2016
Newsweek, however, left “ghetto” out of its “edited transcript” of the speech:
