As we reported earlier, a knife wielding man in a fake suicide vest shouting “Allahu Akbar” was shot and killed by police in a Paris suburb earlier today.
The incident led to this tweet from GOP front-runner Donald Trump:
Man shot inside Paris police station. Just announced that terror threat is at highest level. Germany is a total mess-big crime. GET SMART!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 7, 2016
No big deal, right? He’s obviously talking about 1) the incident in Paris today and 2) the horrific sexual assaults that occurred in Cologne, Germany on New Year’s Eve.
But that’s not how anti-Trump twerps see it. Right now “Paris is in Germany” is trending nationally thanks to morons who have misinterpreted what Trump was talking about.

The good thing about Trump thinking Paris is in Germany is that he probably thinks he's running for president of Papua New Guinea.
