Remember all the excitement over New York City’s first Chick-fil-A that opened in October? Yeah — about that:

That was fast. Could it really have been that gross?

More from the New York Post:

The restaurant was inspected Dec. 24, and cited for not refrigerating food below 42 degrees. The restaurant also didn’t properly sanitize its “wiping cloths,” records show.

Inspection records also indicate the presence of flies, but don’t reveal what species they are.

According to reports, the restaurant will open again on January 4. Phew.
