The funniest moment of the night — so far — just happened on MSNBC as Tom Brokaw’s cell phone started ringing while he was discussing Mitch McConnell’s Senate win in Kentucky. And it wasn’t just a normal ringtone, but what sounded like the very loud “Alarm” ringtone on the iPhone.
Brokaw was unfazed by the interruption and then, to the delight of everyone, pretended to discuss an imaginary grocery list with the mystery caller:
Thought for sure @msnbc was having a fire alarm. No, it's just Tom Brokaw's phone alarm going off on national TV.

The fact that Tom Brokaw's phone alarm just went off on live television and no one batted an eye…when you've been on air that long= boss!

Tom Brokaw's medication alarm just went off on MSNBC, which has been the greatest source of excitement on MSNBC all night.

Dear Tom Brokaw, How long have you been doing TV? Bruh, turn your phone off! And what's up with that loud ringer. Did I hear @50Cent? LOL
