As the joke goes, if President Trump came out and publicly supported oxygen, Democrats would immediately stop breathing.
The thing is, it's not really that much of an exaggeration. The left has been melting down for MONTHS about the planned ballroom in the East Wing of the White House. Even another assassination attempt on the President last month hasn't stopped them from screeching incoherently about that.
The latest in the left's endless series of conniptions about anything and everything the Trump administration does is the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool on the National Mall.
Ron Filipowski isn't the first to throw a hissy fit about the renovations to the pool; he's just the latest, fattest, and sweatiest:

Seriously? How soon can TDS be added to the DSM-5?
I want to take a moment to dive (no pool pun intended) into what, exactly, Filipowski is having a tantrum about. The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was built in 1922-23. Over the past century, it has reflected (sorry, I'll stop with the puns) some of Washington, DC's most historic moments, including Martin Luther King Jr's 'I Have a Dream' speech.
For America's 250th anniversary, the Trump administration is spending between $3 to $13 million to restore the pool. This includes fixing many leaks, cleaning out all of the algae and trash, and painting the bottom of the pool in American flag blue, so that color will shine through the shallow water above it for the semiquincentennial and beyond.
This is what Filipowski and many others are losing their minds over. Making America beautiful again.

The funniest part of Filipowski's meltdown is that this is not the first -- nor even remotely the most expensive -- renovation of the Reflecting Pool.
In 2009, Barack Obama spent $30 million on renovations and restoration, a project that took two years because Democrats were in charge of it. And, of course, as soon as that project was completed, the pool had to be immediately shut down again for another $100,000 renovation because they forgot to include measures to prevent algae.
It's almost too perfect an analogy for how Democrats run government. All it's missing is some Somali fraud (because back in 2010, even Democrats pretended they were against illegal immigration).
Naturally, Filipowski had nothing to say about this previous boondoggle on the Mall. He just hates Trump because he's mentally ill.

This is the perfectly normal and sane reaction that any American would have to seeing this artist's rendition of what the Reflecting Pool will soon look like, thanks to Trump's renovations.
We've all known for a long time that leftists are not normal, nor are they sane.
But what Ron Filipowski demonstrated very clearly is that they are not Americans either.
Because what their unhinged TDS shows more than anything else is that deep down, they all just hate this country.
This year, celebrating the greatness of the United States of America across 250 years, is really going to suck for them.
But it's going to be a helluva great year for the rest of us and our new, great big, blue, beautiful pool in our nation's capital.
