The Left Hates You, Moms: New York Magazine Encourages Non-Monogamy for Mothers

As Twitchy reported today, the Biden administration was just exposed for targeting traditional mothers and motherhood as violent extremists who need to be targeted.

We can't believe we are writing those words, but the proof is in the pudding. Or, in this case, the newly released CIA documents.

I know I shouldn't be surprised at any of this, but still.

You can read Twitchy's full coverage of this story here, but it is beyond a reasonable doubt by now that leftism is incompatible with America. They hate everything that made this country great, particularly traditional families and values.

Sure, if you want to trans your kid or teach them how to 'globalize the intifada,' the left will embrace you. But if you simply want to be a good mother and raise good children, you are Public Enemy Number 1 among the left (and God forbid if you are also a Christian mother with values based in your faith).

How else can anyone explain the latest piece of garbage from New York magazine, in which the author promotes sleeping around for mothers?

I'm sorry ... WHAT?

Normally, I would eschew giving any oxygen to such an obvious attempt to subvert the family. In this case, however, writer Erica Schwiegershausen tells us everything about who she is and what she's about in one paragraph:

The most obvious perk of an open marriage is getting to hook up with other people. But the more poly parents I meet, the more I hear ENM framed as a co-parenting hack. These moms aren’t venting about being stuck at home with the kids while their husbands woo other women. They don’t seem to be stuck keeping score of who handles the grocery shopping and takes the most days off when the kids are sick. And they don’t feel guilty about taking time for themselves. For these moms, non-monogamy seems to offer more than just a way to reclaim their libido. Could it also be the secret to raising kids without completely resenting one’s husband?

'Honey, I need to go bang my ex. You know ... for the kids.'

This is just a guess, since Schwiegershausen keeps her personal details private, but there is a 100 percent chance she is not married (at least not in a traditional marriage) and does not have children.

Because that paragraph is patently insane.

Or, you know, something any typical AWFL would say.

I know it's insane because, if you reversed the roles here, Schwiegershausen would go ballistic at the suggestion that non-monogamy is a boon to a family relationship.

They spend so much time admiring themselves that they do not, in fact, hear themselves.

But it raises the question of why.

Why would New York Magazine promote such an obviously and demonstrably destructive lifestyle for mothers?

The answer doesn't require exhaustive explanation. It's very simple.

They hate mothers.

More instructively, they hate families, they hate values, and they hate anything normal. This is the central tenet of 'Queer Theory,' which is just a modern form of Marxism.

The family is the enemy. The family must be destroyed. Everyone must be driven to their new 'families,' which consist of either the government or Marxist institutions. It's also why they want to trans as many children as they can. Because that also destroys families and norms.

But the reason they target mothers is the most insidious. Mothers are nurturing by nature. That is a tremendous strength, but it is also a vulnerability.

It's right in Schwiegershausen's paragraph that I cited above. Sure, the thrill of having sex with your ex is nice, but the REAL reason mothers should be non-monogamous is that it will help them raise their children. And NOT resent their husbands.

You've heard Democrats talk about 'in order to save democracy, we must destroy democracy'?

This is the same thing. In order to save the family, we must destroy the family.

Unfortunately, the left has had far too much success in corrupting the minds of young women. Not just in telling them they can be boys, but also with the lie that a career is more important than a family, the lie that 'y'all don't need no man in yo' life,' and the lie that children are just a burden who will make you miserable.

(Michelle Obama sure believes that last one, doesn't she? Boy howdy, does she ever. Her poor daughters.)

So, now, the obvious next step is to try to corrupt the minds of women who rejected those lies and embraced family and motherhood. What better way than to encourage them that betraying your vows and betraying your family is actually a good thing for you? See, here are two women (who may or may not be real) that Schwiegershausen talked to who have nothing but great things to say about sleeping around even after you're married and have kids.

If they're happy, you will be as well. QED.

As some of the mockery above shows, Schwiegershausen leaves out the pesky fact that polyamory never works out in the long run. It always -- ALWAYS -- ends up destroying the people who engage in it. And it's even worse when children are part of the equation.

She won't write about that because she just wants to poison more minds, as many young women as she can reach.

I can hope and pray that it won't work, but this is not a short-term project for the left. New York Magazine and Schwiegershausen don't care if people laugh at them today. They'll keep pushing it -- probing for mush, as Lenin would say -- and trying to sneak their massive camel's nose under the tent. As many people pointed out in the replies to the post above, it's become pretty standard for New York Magazine and other leftist media outlets like it to run a story of this nature every few months. They are playing a long game.

After all, it took decades for trans ideology to gain a foothold, and then it exploded in an enormous and catastrophic social contagion. That is their plan here, as well.

Let's not make the same mistake with non-monogamy and polyamorous 'families.'

Let's nip this one right in the bud and send the very notion straight to the very Hell from whence it came.
