The Left's Latest Hissy Fit Over Tylenol Just Got Demolished ... By Tylenol

Amy Sancetta

There is no doubt in my mind anymore that if Donald Trump came out and announced that lighting yourself on fire is a bad idea, many on the left in America would immediately copy Aaron Bushnell, just to show up that mean Orange Man.

Ahem, not that I would recommend such a reaction. Or bring marshmallows.

The latest conniption leftists are throwing about Trump (and RFK Jr.) arose a couple of days ago when the President, HHS Secretary, and many other scientific officials in the administration announced that they were going to dedicate resources to help minimize the explosion of autism in young children in recent decades.

As part of the announcement, they all advised against taking Tylenol while pregnant -- or administering it to infants -- except in cases of high fever, due to the elevated risk of acetaminophen possibly causing autism in children. They also announced that they would be sending an advisory to America's medical community regarding these risks.

That's it. That's all they said. No one banned Tylenol; there was no recall, just an advisory. And a pretty sensible one at that.

Naturally, however, the left reacted by screaming, 'FASCISM!' Because they are completely unhinged.

Democrats like noted scientist Jasmine Crockett even resurrected the lie about Trump saying people should drink bleach to fight COVID. Because they are completely broken. Young pregnant leftist women on TikTok started recording videos in which they are downing an entire bottle of Tylenol out of spite and just to be a 'resister.'

Their poor children.

Other medical professionals like ... umm ... Randi Weingarten assured pregnant women that they can pop as many pills as they like.

Of course, wherever Randi Weingarten is, Corey DeAngelis is never far behind, calling her out with receipts.

Deleting her account would be excellent. Having a restraining order in place preventing her from being within 1,000 yards of any child or student would be even better.

Amid all of this fake outrage, pseudoscience, and mental illness from the left, though, it's odd that none of them ever thought to ask the people at Tylenol what they thought.

It turns out, they don't recommend that pregnant women should be taking ANY Tylenol product while pregnant either.

Whoops!

Eight years ago, EIGHT YEARS AGO, the manufacturers were not recommending their product for pregnant women. The left never said a word. Because it makes sense.

But now that Trump has said the same thing, suddenly the left is scrambling to give as much Tylenol as possible to as many pregnant women as possible.

These people are just plain insane.

I should note that Tylenol's owner, Kenvue (a spinoff of Johnson & Johnson), disputes the possible ties to autism, but of course, they are going to say that.

That's their lawyers speaking.

They still haven't changed their recommendation that pregnant women do not take it.

Those women should all get a visit from Child Protective Services. And possibly a sheriff or two.

It's only awkward for people whose first instinct is to automatically oppose anything Trump says out of hate and spite, not to mention a healthy dollop of mental illness.

It wouldn't matter if they did. Broken people are going to do broken things, even at great risk to their own children.

Of course, an eight-year-old advisory isn't going to let Tylenol or Kenvue off the hook here. We are sure that RFK Jr. is going to be calling on them to answer MANY more questions.

Yikes.

But if nothing else, the leftist hissy fits and unhinged reactions over Tylenol show us that knee-jerk reactions are often very stupid.

Especially when those knees are jerking due to a terminal case of TDS.
