A defining characteristic of Islamic jihadists is that any affront -- real or perceived -- to their religious symbolism is cause for violent, even deadly retaliation. We all remember the attacks on Charlie Hebdo for publishing cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed. Similarly, Salman Rushdie has been living under death threats and assassination attempts for almost 40 years for his irreverent treatment of the prophet. In America, just a few years ago, Rushdie was almost killed and lost the use of an eye when a jihadist attacked him with a knife while Rushdie was speaking in upstate New York.
It has become clear over the past few years that trans activists are no different. Violence is not their last, but their FIRST resort when someone comes after the symbols of their secular religion of gender ideology. Just ask JK Rowling.
Sadly, we cannot ask many of the victims at the Covenant Catholic School in Tennessee and the Church of the Annunciation in Minnesota.
This past weekend, in the wake of the Minnesota shooting, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that he was not going to allow the gender cult to vandalize Florida streets anymore by painting their religious symbol, the 'pride flag,' on crosswalks.
As usual, DeSantis did it the right way, in compliance with a Florida law (SB1622) that gives his Department of Transportation the authority to withhold state funds from jurisdictions that did not ensure that roadways were uniform in appearance. He didn't single out the rainbows; he applied the law to all defacement of public streets.
But guess who were the only people who went ballistic about that?

The DeSantis administration currently has at least seven Florida Highway Patrol troopers just on anti-chalk duty: Two watching from a Dunkin Donuts next door and five more parked in the lot right behind them. pic.twitter.com/o1Yxvn2aso

Yes, he had to do that. Because when Florida DOT went around removing the graffiti, the trans activists would show up and just paint the streets again, in defiance of the law.
But then the violent threats began, which is probably what this 'reporter' wanted to incite. Or, at least, he knew what would ensue.

Aww, isn't that cute? Maybe Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan can get that on a t-shirt, too, to go along with her one that says to protect 'trans kids' ... with a knife.
This was protected as political speech in Florida over a decade ago. I once lived with the guy who sued the city of Orlando in federal court and won. https://t.co/AFusCRT0lz

I very much doubt that case ever happened. And no, it is not a 'free speech' issue. The First Amendment does not protect the right to vandalize public property.
But take a closer look at what this 'person' wants to do to anyone who disagrees with her.
Yikes.
When this is all over, after the blood of millions have been spilled, I wonder what will be in the history books. Will this get shown to our great grand children? I wonder what will happen. https://t.co/mWLMsSDxKa

Wow. Just ... wow.
I made the mistake of chiming in on the conversation to remind the reporter that DeSantis isn't trying to do anything. He is doing it. I also pointed out that while some people are using chalk, others are using paint.
Whoo, boy. Then they turned their violence on me.
Well, no. I won't. But thanks for your thoughts on the matter.
I had to use a screenshot there for obvious reasons. And there were several other replies telling me to kill myself -- or offering to do it for me -- but thankfully, Elon Musk suspended those accounts.
Needless to say, I was also called many homophobic slurs because the trans activists also hate normal gay people who do not want to be a part of their rainbow death cult.
One trans prostitute even screamed at me and called me a furry because I have a picture of Calvin and Hobbes as my profile image. (I will spare readers the nausea of having to look at that 'person's' bio.)
LOL. I think there might have been some projection going on there.
All of this because they can't paint their symbols on the streets of Florida anymore.
Children can still use chalk on sidewalks. People can paint their driveways if they want (and, hilariously, they are), and none of this had to do with a memorial for the Pulse nightclub shooting. These are all deflections. DeSantis has provided plenty of money for a proper memorial, and the TAs haven't done anything with it.
Because it is not about any of that. It is about force-feeding their poisonous ideology to others, and it is about demanding compliance and obeisance.
If you dare to defy them, they will threaten you. If they can, they will come after you through doxxing or worse. I have no doubt that if they had the information, trans activists would show up at my house to commit vandalism and violence.
They are violent jihadists, and it's time we stopped pretending that they are anything but.
And that's all the more reason that gender ideology must be utterly defeated.
