There are now just a few weeks to go until the midterm elections take place, and many Democrats are doing the expected pivots in order to attempt to convince voters they're not actually as crazy as they really are. Hopefully they don't fool anybody.
One of those Democrats is James Talarico, who of course is running for U.S. Senate in Texas.
Talarico's team has obviously been workshopping responses to questions about his nutty previous comments about religion, trans issues, border security and immigration, and many other things.
The radical who's running against Ken Paxton is now trying to make voters think he's not who he really is, and an early test came during an interview today with Fox News' Brooke Taylor.

Everybody knew that we'd be in for a bunch of "I no longer believe all those things I said when I was a lot younger a couple of years ago" spin and that's exactly what we got.
We'll start with immigration and border security.
