We're coming out of an era of climate change hysteria, the stupidity of which was perhaps best summed up by the Biden administration's "green" push to make the U.S. military "climate friendly":

Biden made a 5,000-mile round trip flight on Air Force One to make the "green" announcement that was 100 percent pure insanity. It's a good thing the Dems got routed in the November election or right now President Harris would be announcing a $5 trillion expenditure so charging stations can be installed in potential battlefields around the world so tanks would have a place to re-charge.
Around that same time, Attorney General Merrick Garland unveiled the "Office of Environmental Justice":

"Environmental justice" is the biggest BS term ever devised and it is of course just an excuse to legally go after political enemies and/or levy fines on companies leftists don't like.
All that madness is being dismantled and the process of restoring sanity is ongoing. The Democrats are now getting concerned that people will realize that all their "green" lunacy is being scrapped and yet... nothing is happening.

You can almost see the tears in this lengthy Politico piece that begins this way:

"The Left strategy on climate needs to be rethought" translates to "we need to find a different way to fearmonger about this because the old ways aren't working."

Combine that with libs torching Teslas and cop cars and, if anything, man-made climate change alarmists might be creating a self-fulfilling prophecy.

However, the "free Palestine" and "end fossil fuels NOW" crowds are of course both ladles out of the same bucket.
Meanwhile, as usual, the Left freaking out means something good is happening for America as increasing numbers of people realize that, hey, maybe we can live our lives just fine without a bunch of government eco bureaucrats telling us what we can and can't do.
