On day one of the Biden administration in January of 2021, the White House basically opened up the border which culminated in millions and millions of people entering the U.S. illegally. Biden had previously urged them to "surge to the border" and that's exactly what happened. Homeland Security Director and glorified Walmart greeter for illegals, Alejandro Mayorkas, later even bragged about how their administration opened up the border:
"We have rescinded so many Trump immigration policies, it would take so much time to list them!"

Additionally Mayorkas and the "sanctuary city" Democrats simply stopped enforcing laws to get a result the Left wanted.
Fast forward to the second Trump term, and the Washington Post has spotted a "new tactic":
Across the government, the Trump administration is trying a new tactic for gutting federal rules and policies that the president dislikes: simply stop enforcing them.https://t.co/v0JCH1gK22

Oh, really?
Anything like that ever happen at the Southern Border?

Just asking. https://t.co/VcHzDYCVSx
We spent four years watching immigration laws be ignored which resulted in tragic consequences for many Americans, but now this is a problem for the Post:
Critics say the administration is breaking the law and sidestepping the rulemaking process that presidents of both parties have routinely followed.
“They’re making across-the-board decisions not to enforce whole categories of standards, and it is of very dubious legality,” said Richard Revesz, who led the White House regulatory affairs office under President Joe Biden and is now the faculty director of the Institute for Policy Integrity at New York University School of Law.
After what we just witnessed for four years that's some serious "journalism" right there.
And just like that, the Washington Post is concerned about a president following rules and policies!

Truly remarkable cognitive dissonance on @washingtonpost

Sound familiar....?

What's remarkable is that it probably never occurred to these "journalists" that the previous administration didn't enforce border security OR immigration laws.
Just imagine how criminally psychotic it would be to stop enforcing laws at the border crossings.

This “new tactic” was used by Joe Biden for 4 years at the southern border. https://t.co/VYZZLJRgXU

I'm thinking of that old "I learned it from watching YOU" public service announcement that used to be on TV when I was a kid. But the WaPo's gonna WaPo.
