I've never figured out how leftists who claim to be concerned about man-made climate change think that blocking traffic, causing cars and trucks to sit unnecessarily idling for a long time, helps reduce emissions. But then again, we're talking about leftists and there's no space in their heads for common sense, or else they wouldn't be leftists.
Blocking traffic remains a tactic from the "climate emergency" crowd, but people have had enough and it's starting to look like the police have too.
To me, the police response (or lack thereof) to climate loons blocking traffic has been ridiculously loose. Maybe that's starting to change.
Here are two recent examples. The first took place in Washington, DC, where the police responded to kooks blocking the road and were seen reducing the number of "warnings" that were offered:
VIDEO THREAD: On Saturday morning, @DecEmergency climate activists blocked a street in Washington DC again, their third time this week.

This time, several drivers got out of their cars yelling "I wanna go to work!" and grabbing their banners out of their hands. 🎥: @wallendupraw pic.twitter.com/5p2qPcGjF8
2) When police arrived, they recognized one of the climate activists blocking the road as having been arrested in a similar act on Wednesday.

"You're under arrest for contempt of court!" an officer declared. Drivers clapped and cheered as he was handcuffed. pic.twitter.com/zQlOXyGB2f
3) Police typically give three warnings before arresting road-blockers in DC, but this time, they gave one: "You're not getting three warnings!"

As some began leaving the road, MPD's Jason Bagshaw said "everyone's under arrest" and had all of them cuffed. pic.twitter.com/pMHNIjD0Ia
4) "Y'all know you haven't done the proper warnings?" said one of the climate activists in handcuffs, having expected three warnings and a chance to avoid arrest.

"We don't have to," an officer told her before all of them, including their police liaison, were taken away. pic.twitter.com/ihFYOuB6F1
They shouldn't even get ONE warning. The police need to sweep the trash off the streets or angry drivers trying to get to work, store, or wherever will do it for them.

I wasn't unhappy to see that:
Even the cops in blue cities are done with these useless ne'er-do-well turds. https://t.co/oYBJmIkhs0

But that wasn't the only example this week of the police and others being completely over "activists" blocking traffic. I saved the best for last.
Climate activists also tried to block a road leading to the annual hippie-fest in the Nevada desert known as "Burning Man," and the police there were a tad more aggressive than they were with the whackos in DC.
Brace for the usual "idiots who blocked traffic crying and pretending to be victims" theatrics:

Drivers trying to get to Burning Man who were angry at the road-blocking activists made for some hot lefty-on-lefty action.
This should honestly be the norm for police in dealing with these miscreants.

Yes it should! Show the above video to every police department in America.
