By now everybody knows how the Biden White House plays the gas price game. When the prices are rising, it’s “Putin’s price hike” or the fault of “oil company price gouging.” When the prices go down this administration takes credit.

But gas prices aren’t dropping everywhere. While President Biden was in Los Angeles he was asked about the price of gas in that city, but it seems there’s suddenly an exception to the White House’s current “gas prices are dropping everywhere” narrative:

Gas has always been seven bucks a gallon in Los Angeles (and almost that high in the rest of the state)?
That’s just not true. Here’s what’s happened to the price of gas in California just since Biden took office:
So basically Biden lied again? Say it ain’t so!

All he does is lie.
Anyone going to question him on this with facts? https://t.co/dcVAxny1kf— m/-=EdVT=-m/ (@Carg0ShortLife) October 17, 2022
The “fact-checkers” are still to a large degree focusing on what Trump says (and posts to social media). Biden lies constantly and for the most part, gets either a full pass or his claims get ruled that he “misspoke.”
