Glenn Greenwald reminds Trump-triggered journo that 'history did not begin in January 2017'

As we told you earlier, former CNN and NBC News journalist Michelle Kosinski had a tweet that’s getting plenty of notice, in a ratioed kind of way:

As an American journalist, you never expect:
1. Your own govt to lie to you, repeatedly
2. Your own govt to hide information the public has a right to know
3. Your own govt to spy on your communications

Trump's unAmerican regime did all of these.
No one should accept this.

A lot of people have had their say, and Glenn Greenwald was among those weighing in on the current state of journalism:

History did not begin in January, 2017, and journalists like this who keep pretending it did are lying to the public: https://t.co/FTqzPgvbZK pic.twitter.com/EjXV1IFch1

Also, anyone who utters the phrase "as an American journalist, you never expect your own govt to lie to you, repeatedly" should immediately leave the profession. Anyone who really believes that is laboring under infinite ignorance:https://t.co/FTqzPgvbZK

That just about says it all!
