Just how wrong were some media 'fact-checks' about Trump's vaccine prediction? Check out this mini-thread

Yesterday the FDA approved the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use. We’ve already told you that, as a result of that announcement, NBC News really should update their “fact check” from earlier this year after President Trump said that a coronavirus vaccine could be delivered as early as before the end of 2020. But we don’t want to just single out NBC News, because so many other media outlets demonstrated that their kneejerk reaction to Trump saying a vaccine could come before the end of the year was to declare it a pipe dream:
