For some analysis on President Trump and his supporters, CNN’s “Reliable Sources” turned to former ABC News White House correspondent Sam Donaldson, who basically said that Trump supporters are racist but fairly decent people otherwise:
Trump supporters “want to return this country to the white Christian country that they believe it should be again. They don’t want the diversity, and they follow him for this, but they’re not the country. We are a diverse people” – Sam Donaldson on CNN’s @ReliableSources pic.twitter.com/5kH5B6szZA

Ah, “journalism.”
For you younguns’, Sam Donaldson was a Fake News specialist back when there was no good way to figure out how much he was lying to you. https://t.co/NuCbYIzcPn

SHOCKING BREAKING NEWS:
Aging Democrat hack who posed as journalist for years makes unprecedented claim that everyone who votes differently than a Democrat is a racist. https://t.co/D1IyqFUNva

Reminder that this is what far too many so-called journalists think about tens of millions of their fellow Americans https://t.co/ZmoCsXSJzk

Nowadays they just say it right out loud.
Poop in the streets and Antifa attacking people is diversity?

For God's sake. None of these people have ever stepped outside of their bubble to TALK to a Trump voter.
Normal, taxpaying, war fighting citizens are getting tired of being smeared by corporate media that results in us being attacked in the streets.
STOP IT!#EnemyOfThePeople

Oh how original. Democrats have never called opponents racist before. (Also, #WhatMediaBias) https://t.co/J8eMrT69ny

Sam Donaldson – the Jim Acosta of the Reagan era.

LOL. That’s a great description for those too young to remember.
Wonder how diverse Sam’s circle is?

Just spent the weekend at #AmpFest19 – dominated by Trump supporters. Saw plenty of diverse faces and sat on a panel with an openly gay entertainer
Not a drop of hate, just acceptance https://t.co/262KbOtMIz

Who's going to tell him that not all Christians are white? https://t.co/4CVhfqasJs
— Wolf (@_OneIronWolf) October 13, 2019
And Donaldson’s claims went, not surprisingly, unchallenged:
What's his evidence for this? And why doesn't @brianstelter ask to see it? https://t.co/J5I2DLf5g4

We’ll assume that last question is rhetorical in nature.
