D'OH! AOC shaming corporations for not paying 'fair share' in taxes just got super awkward

As you’re well aware, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is among progressive/socialist Democrats who are constantly slamming corporations and the wealthy for not paying their “fair share” in taxes. Here are just a couple examples:

Lastly, this isn’t just about one company or one headquarters. It’s about cost of living, corps paying their fair share, etc.

It’s not about picking a fight, either. I was elected to advocate for our community’s interests – & they‘ve requested, clearly, to voice their concerns.

Well isn’t that special:

Democratic darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez still hasn’t paid a six-year-old tax bill left over from a failed business venture.

Weeks after The Post alerted the freshman Congresswoman’s office to the outstanding tax lien from 2012, she still hasn’t paid it, state records show.

Brook Avenue Press, a company set up in the Bronx to publish books about city children, owes $1,877.56 in unpaid corporate taxes.
