Puh-LEEZE! Watergate journo goes FULL HACK in attempt to keep Dems' collusion narrative alive [video]

Carl Bernstein, of Watergate reporting notoriety, was on CNN last night and tried his best to keep the Trump/Russia “collusion” narrative alive for another day. In the process, Bernstein said this of what we know about the Mueller investigation so far:

Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein on special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe: “We are seeing evidence of a conspiracy. Who was witting, unwitting in that conspiracy, we don’t know yet. But Mueller's indictments are pointing in a certain direction" https://t.co/o6E0sevUUz pic.twitter.com/RXkCBug80R

People involved in a conspiracy “unwittingly”?

If it's unwitting it isn't a conspiracy

That's what conspire means https://t.co/z0KzJK83fo

Bernstein was really working for an angle there but tripped over reality:

I'm not trained in the law but I'm pretty sure conspiracy requires intent https://t.co/ObZ2rktQpI

"Who was witting, unwitting in that conspiracy, we don’t know yet."

Talk about trying to stretch reality AND language. You can't be an 'unwitting' part of a 'conspiracy', because words actually mean things … even when you don't like the people you're discussing. #cripes https://t.co/N9Ss9iB7ug

This sentence is a bunch of meaningless mumbo-jumbo. https://t.co/abBwq9rvHx

Don’t bother Bernstein, he’s got a narrative to try and help keep alive!
