As we told you yesterday, shortly after the final out of the World Series, President Obama tweeted from his personal @POTUS account an invitation for the champion Chicago Cubs to visit the White House before he leaves office in just a few weeks.
As of yesterday, the Cubs hadn’t committed to a WH visit before January 20, 2017, so the president took it to the next level:
From AF-1, @POTUS phones @Cubs manager Joe Maddon to congratulate them on World Series victory; invites them to WH before he leaves office.

Don’t make him come over there, Chicago Cubs!
