During an interview in Aspen today, Attorney General Loretta Lynch was asked what she was thinking when Bill Clinton boarded her plane in Phoenix for an off-the-record chat. Lynch agreed to speak with Clinton in spite of the fact that his wife is under FBI investigation.
Lynch is now saying she’ll back away from the investigation (but not very far), and during today’s interview she didn’t fully close the door on overriding recommendations once the Hillary investigation has concluded:
