'Proven liar' Sen. Chris Murphy asked to clarify stat about gun deaths

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), as part of his mission to pass more laws to help stop people who don’t obey laws, shared this gun statistic today:

If we can’t talk about #gunviolence policy following a shooting then we'll never talk about it, because guns kill 86 people every single day
