President Obama and Bill Nye’s fuel-burning Earth Day expedition to the Everglades in Florida has been slightly hampered by rain. Oddly enough, what might have been one of the more ecologically-friendly parts of the trip has been canceled:

The White House might end up blaming man-made climate change for raining out Obama’s fanboat excursion.

Go figure.

As for the carbon footprint of Obama’s trip, cutting the fan boat photo op might have helped a little, and the White House says this will take care of the rest:
