Oh, look. Another train derailment while the train was carrying crude oil. Totes better for the environment than Keystone XL, right?

As Twitchy reported, a train hauling crude oil derailed today in Lynchburg, Virginia and exploded into a huge fireball. The Lynchburg derailment comes just a few months after a train carrying oil derailed and burst into flames in North Dakota.
The accident prompted questions for those who oppose construction of the Keystone XL pipeline on environmental grounds while others pointed to the recent derailments as further proof of the need to approve Keystone:
4 peeps opposing #Keystone on environmental grounds: this is the 2nd firery oil train derailment in the last 6mos. Good 4 enviornment?

Another derailment of a crude oil train. Yet another reason to approve the Keystone Pipeline!

Just curious on how many train derailments it will take in order for people to realize the Keystone XL pipeline is the best thing for the US

@CNBC So killing Keystone seems like a good idea to some. But train derailments happen all the time – and trains travel through major cities

Burning mess from train collision in VA… But don't build Keystone. Transport oil on Buffett's choo-choo line.
