Jesse Jackson calls for repeal of 'Stand Your Ground' law; Defends woman who fired 'warning shots'

Jesse Jackson’s promoted a march calling for the repeal of Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law.

Jackson’s very next tweet was about Florida’s Marissa Alexander, who was serving a 20 year sentence for aggravated assault before a judge ordered a new trial.

Alexander tried unsuccessfully to use a “Stand Your Ground” defense at her original trial, and Jackson is on her side:
