Reuters' angle on fatal lightning strike near the White House just reeks of #journalism

On Thursday in Washington, DC three people were killed and several more injured after a lightning strike very close to the White House:

Three people have died in Washington D.C. after a lightning strike on Thursday, according to D.C. Metropolitan Police.

The two who died have been identified as couple James Mueller, 76, and Donna Mueller, 75, both of Janesville, Wisconsin.

Friday afternoon, police said a 29-year-old man died from his injuries. His name is being withheld pending family notification.

The condition of the other person who was injured has not been released.

The lightning strike hit Lafayette Park, which sits directly across the street from the White House, Vito Maggiolo, a spokesperson for D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services, said in a news conference Thursday evening.

Here’s one takeaway from Reuters that probably won’t surprise you:

“Climate warning”? For the climate change cult in the media the mantra is “always be closing!”

Lightning strikes hardly ever happened until the invention of the internal combustion engine — it’s just a fact!

There is no natural phenomenon that the lib media won’t be willing to report is caused by “climate change.”

Frankly we’re a little surprised that NPR didn’t come up with that take before Reuters did.

Is it too late for the Dems to change the title of the “Inflation Reduction Act” to the “Lightning Reduction Act”?
