In the last few weeks the Biden administration shifted into gaslighting overdrive in attempts to convince everybody that everything’s going great and not to believe their lying eyes. Here are just a couple of examples:
We just learned that President Biden’s first year in office was the strongest year for economic growth since 1984. pic.twitter.com/I3qpODiHqy

The. Strongest. Economic. Growth. In. 38 Years. https://t.co/7b1fGKzRbu

That hasn’t helped Biden’s approval rating rebound (quite the opposite actually), so Axios is reporting what’s coming next:
Job growth numbers may be about to turn negative for the first time since President Biden took office, and the White House is seeking to get ahead of potential negative headlines. https://t.co/Xy1L7MbXyT

“Get ahead” in what way?
They’re going to adopt an actual squirrel aren’t they?

Time for a White House bird.

Ha! The “new cat” story helped distract the media for a while, so why not?
Just let the media do it for him

The media will definitely help out, and the Biden WH knows it.
No, they didn't miss work because of "the omicron variant." They missed work because of hysterical and draconian policies, driven by a "testing" industry smothering all parts of society like an economic kudzu.
Republicans, MUST kill this weed after November. No excuses. https://t.co/eAzKXgfNBr

“Due to Omicron” 😂

Axios showed Biden how the media helps them with spin just by already blaming bad economic news on the omicron variant.
After the virus hurts his job numbers in Jan, think of all the historic new jobs he can claim to have created in Feb, March, and April.

They should try and turn the economy off and turn it back on. Isn’t that what caused the job “growth” last time?

We wouldn’t put it past them to try.
