Ever since January 6th Democrats and the media have been saying that then-President Donald Trump encouraged the “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to overthrow the government and re-install Trump as president. Democrats (with some help from Senate Republicans like Mitt Romney) then impeached and tried Trump. One of the charges was “incitement of insurrection.”
Meanwhile, many months later, Reuters is reporting that the FBI isn’t finding evidence of an organized plot or that Trump incited the riot at the Capitol:
