California Gov. Gavin Newsom has already warned the state’s residents that the “boom” is ending, and he’ll undoubtedly blame Trump for that. In the meantime, Newsom has also reserved criticism for Trump simply pointing out that California gas prices are skyrocketing and the progressive utopia isn’t panning out:
You have no credibility on this issue. You’re trying to gut our emissions laws. Deny climate change. And wreck our environment by burning the dirtiest possible energy sources.
But yeah, those electric vehicles we’re encouraging car companies to manufacture sure are gas guzzlers! https://t.co/Aia1jgCId8
— Gavin Newsom (@GavinNewsom) October 9, 2019
Does he really want to go there?
Hey, Einstein, @GavinNewsom ,you do realize you're talking about electric cars a few hours before 1 million Californians are plunged into darkness because of no electricity, hence, no way to charge those car's batteries, right? You do understand how those work, yes? https://t.co/nkT8FdrjxO

There seems to be a Catch-22 for many in California.
Meanwhile you're shutting off the electricity. https://t.co/Iw6aEUNXFo

Does Newsom realize what’s going on in his own state?
All those generators powering homes because of the upcoming power outage will be guzzling plenty of gas for the next two or three days.

This tweet comes right before a power outage will force thousands of homes to run on gas-guzzling generators for days. https://t.co/YQkVkPkXyC

Gavin Newsom rages against Trump, touting oh-so-clean electric cars (powered by energy created from fossil fuels) while the northern half of his state (minus Sacramento, of course) braces for a days-long PG&E #poweroutage, forcing residents to use gas-powered generators.

Upcoming 25-mile-per-hour winds and 70 degree temperatures force widespread power outages for days because the only power company in the area is unable to protect its customers from such terrible, devastating weather. This is Gavin Newsom's California.

Stressing an already strained system is exactly what you expect from him and his ilk.

How about worrying about the power shutoff by PG&E? Something someone actually cares about.

How far are those electric cars gonna go with NO POWER!?!? Your state is falling apart!
— Trisha (@TrishaMomOf6) October 9, 2019
My sister lives in NorCal. She and nearly a million others are about to go without power for up to a week because California can't keep the lights on without risking burning down half the state.
But good to know @GavinNewsom's Twitter game is strong. #Priorities. https://t.co/OPXnC4TX5Y

Self-awareness is hard for some politicians.
Newsom: "when you plug an electric car into the magic power outlet it gets free energy from no where"

Do you know how electricity is made, hun? https://t.co/w2ThcOQtmt

This tweet won't age well. There is no way that even the far-left loons of California will put up with these gas prices for much longer. Gavin and his predecessors are destroying the pocketbooks of commuters…otherwise known as the middle class. https://t.co/BUS3qbdxcM

Medieval diseases, power outages, hobos pooping in the streets, and > $4.25/gal gas prices. Let's all just chant: ORANGE MAN BAD! ? #RecallGavinNewsom https://t.co/cRyKNrqfjl

One thing Newsom’s best at is trying to blame Trump for his own state government’s failings.
