BuzzFeed’s response to having published a 35-page dossier of unsubstantiated dirt on Donald Trump has been bad enough (editor-in-chief Ben Smith admitted the report contained “explosive but unverified” allegations), but it just got worse.
As a result of the “dossier” story, at Donald Trump’s press conference earlier today, the President-Elect referred to Buzzfeed as a “steaming pile of garbage.” Even though their story proved to be full of holes, BuzzFeed’s not shying away from using Trump’s slam as a money-making opportunity:
