Jill Stein is so serious about getting big money out of politics, she wants you to give it all to her.

As we reported a couple days ago, Jill Stein and the Green Party are seeking recounts in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. The raising of funds for a recount has goalposts that are movable:
Jill Stein has raised over $4.4 million to try to fund recounts of votes in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. https://t.co/htHvxz6206 pic.twitter.com/uARKlEq5xo

So what’s happening here? National Review’s Jonah Goldberg put it this way:
Jill Stein's racket is incredible:
Step 1: Cost the Dem the Election
Step 2: wait for Trump panic
Step 3: Bilk millions for recount.— Jonah Goldberg (@JonahNRO) November 25, 2016
The only person Hillary Clinton’s supporters are NOT blaming for her election loss is Hillary, but the results certainly caused Stein to live up to the “Green” Party label.
@JonahNRO Not sure she got enough votes anywhere to say she cost H the election. Plus most of her voters likely wouldn't vote for H anyways.

@bigdaddyhags I saw somewhere that her margins in MI & WI were significant. But fair enough.

Stein’s recount push isn’t likely to be successful, not that she might not still consider it a “success”:
@JonahNRO I love how they even admit that much of the $ may just go to Green Party or "to ensure elections integrity," whatever that means.

Liberals are actually falling for this #Recount scam. So stupid. https://t.co/O3K5nXgkh3

Vox’s Matt Yglesias is among those critical of Stein’s fundraising “recount” pitch:
Folks giving Jill Stein money "for a recount" are gonna be ripped off.

When you’ve lost Vox…
