Yesterday, former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm was among those defending Hillary Clinton:

Granholm sure seems to know more about the situation than most, so maybe she should take it all the way to the top:

Vindication for Hillary!

We’ll now wait for Granholm to share her knowledge of the case with the FBI.

And Hillary has even acknowledged having been informed of that fact.

Everytime I see Ms Granholm, I think back to Sept 7, 2012, when she gave a long rambling speech at the Democratic Convention, and was almost ‘too happy’, People were asking if she had been drinking before approaching the podium. Her very own ‘Howard Dean Moment’.

    • Suzyqpie

Decorating that rambling speech was Ms Granholm’s helicopter hands. At one point it appeared that she truly might have become airborne.

  • RblDiver

So, by her logic, a pederast not marking his email as such should also get off scot-free?

    • NRPax

Harry Reid’s office wants me to know what kind of answer you get to this. For research purposes of course.

  • Sanchez

“Hillary Rodham Clinton has committed a felony. That is apparent from
the facts and in the plain-language of the federal statute that
prohibits “Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information”, 18
U.S. Code § 793(e) and (f). This offense carries a potential penalty of
    ten years imprisonment.

It’s called a prima facie case: clear on the basis of known facts.

It’s up to prosecutorial discretion by the US Attorney as to what
charges may be filed and when. Nonetheless, Mrs. Clinton is clearly
chargeable for violation of federal law. As of right now, the matter is
under FBI investigation. This isn’t just about violation of Departmental

If this is published at the DK you know its bad for Clinton.

    • Suzyqpie

“Sorry, she’s done herself in, and has no one else to blame except some overzealous aides and risk-seeking lawyers,” copied from kos link. Among those aides and lawyers was a saboteur. The magnitude of this debris field needed an insider to orchestrate the remarkably stupid sequential decisions.

    • LucienCordier

Yet the comments consist almost entirely of people attacking the author of the posting and the articles that he referenced, mainly in variations of “nuh- uh…” and “you’re stupid”. It’s impossible to convince irrational/unreasonable people using facts and logic. I know that because I used to be married.

      • Suzyqpie

Awesome closing statement. Irrefutable evidence that you are correct.

  • jhawk90

What part of her being the mother bleepin’ SoS don’t these clowns understand?

    • tverle

all of it…..clinton obviously didn’t understand it either

  • normsrevenge

Hillary’s shameful behaviour will send the Dems back to the Stoned Ages.. along with all those who stood behind her and her Hubby back on his Impeachment Day. Good riddance!

    • tverle

      I hope you’re correct.

    • Suzyqpie

Hillary’s shameful behavior and the resulting debris field created by it along with this –
Democrats have suffered devastating losses at all levels of government since Obama was inaugurated in 2009 including, 69 House Seats, 13 Senate Seats, 901 State Legislative Seats, 30 State Legislative Chambers, and 12 Governorships.
If the Republicans fail to take the WH, something is seriously wrong.

  • GonetoCarolina

It’s amazing what so-called intelligent people will spout without having any first-hand knowledge…

    • RJLigier

Intelligence has nothing to do with pathological behavior………

  • FreedomFighter

It seems leftist comments on any issue can be debunked just off the top of any reasonable thinkers head without any research.

  • NRPax

Jennifer, you really should do just a bit more research on things before you type.

  • gfnc55

Granholm running interference for Clinton is a new low. Anyone notice Carville’s absence? Clinton is down to Granholm and David Brock. Those two are below the bottom of the barrel, they’re under the barrel….

    • Suzyqpie

Missing also was Clinton sycophant extraordinaire Lanny Davis. In fact ole Lanny has been MIA for some time. Agree, that scrapping sound, it’s the bottom of the barrel.

      • Marty

Was just going to say that. A lot of people are going to start turning their backs on the Clintons.

      • SnarkyGCat

He was on the Kelly File last night. Megyn destroyed him as usual. He has now crawled back into his hole.

  • toddm123

It should come down to this. NO private server in a person’s house should be used for official government business. NONE! I work in a hospital and if I did the same thing, the feds would be on my butt for prosecution of housing patient data off premises.

  • bobbyt1964

Jennifer, I’m about to spend a lot of money on PV solar for my home. Although I can’t send you a copy, do you think the contract is fair?

    • Newportcarl

Jennifer, I don’t have a fax machine but did I do my taxes right last night?

      • bobbyt1964

Hey Carl! That’s the best avatar EVAH!!! (It really goes with your question!)

        • Newportcarl

Bob…he’s the gift that keeps on giving

          • san rafael blue

            Is he drinking Ovaltine?

  • Girl who talks with her claws
  • People Corporation

She used a private server in her bathroom, and a blackberry on the road. Both of these send and receive over telephone lines and routers tapped by any foreign country she happens to be at when sending or receiving these email. There is probably no government that doesn’t have every backbone of their Internet tapped, and copying every packet of data to their own storage.

They were all reading her emails before she even received it. And most likeley followed the IP trail back to her house, and were inside her computer to gather the rest within minutes.

  • Donald-Now 3x as Deplorable

“Passed the stringent Granholm test”? NOBODY could ethically and legally pass one of HER tests if they were given the “Master copy” with all the correct answers on it.

  • Ben Bollman

This is the lady who knew about the water in Flint long before any Republican governor did and did nothing.

  • Patriot

Jennifer Granholm is just another mindless liberal Canadian that mindless Democrats voted for. Please excuse the oxymorons.

  • Mike Rogers

And we should take the word of the economically illiterate dumb blonde because?

  • Jerry Shelton

And the person in charge should never be held accountable……

  • Deplorable Nigel Pinchley

I despise lawyer/politicians who give “lawyerly” answers to questions about possible illegal acts they may have committed. From Hillary’s, “I don’t recall” to the grand jury back in the ’90’s to this crap from Hillary! and now Granholm that “nothing was marked classified” when it makes no difference how something is marked. Add Granholm to the growing crowd of “people” I wouldn’t pi** on if their hearts were on fire!

  • SnarkyGCat

Sure. I believe a Canadian Hillgrannie zealot over the signed US govt. Nondisclosure Agreement FOIA # F-2015-05069.

This Clinton signed doc clearly states that unmarked classified docs are included and she fully violated the law.

    Off with her head! Treason!

  • Dan Abbett

I am confident that both Feinstein and Granholm fully understand the law and regulations surrounding classified material, especially Feinstein. That both of them are trying to make fools of the people by going along with this phony “they weren’t marked” excuse says a lot about their attitude with respect to following the law.

    • teamfrazzled

To me this is Democrats once again insisting the law is whatever they need it to be when trying to hold a Democrat accountable-because hey, it wasn’t meant to apply to THEM! The true depths of their moral bankruptcy just sickens me. This female violated the trust of the entire nation, she abused the power she was given and thinks she is ENTITLED to be rewarded for it now with even greater power. And apparently a lot of other Democrats are more than happy to do it.

  • bobbyt1964

He, Jennifer! I have a weird freckle on my cheek. I can’t send you a photo of it, but it’s not a melanoma, right?

  • keyboard jockey

Someone hooked themselves to the wrong wagon.

  • Arttie the Deplorable

Kankles was framed I tell ya, framed just like

    • Jeff Henderson ✓Bona Fide

I’d like to divulge a secret to her!

  • Aaron1960

As a resident of Michigan, the 8 years of Granholm were economically dead, deficit filled, and U-Haul & North American were moving people out as quickly as they could pack. Granholm wrecked Michigan. Blue voters screwed us.

  • Aaron1960

    P. S. Sucks is short for Granholm.

  • Antisocial_ism

There were no speed limits posted, so it was alright for Hillary to do 215 MPH.

  • Jeff Henderson ✓Bona Fide

If it saves one classified bit of information from getting out – said Hillary Clinton never.

  • JR48

Only a completely partisan hack would argue against national security from our next POTUS.

  • setirovan

So the secretary of state could not recognize sensitive or classified material. But I thought she was the smartest women ever.

  • setirovan

    Jennifer blew Michigan away.

  • Deplorable AMERICAN™✓ᵛᵉʳᶦᶠᶦᵉᵈ

So I was going to link Jenny’s appearance on the Dating Game, but apparently it’s been removed for copyright something or other.

Here’s a news article, at least.

Oh wait, hold up. We got a live one.

  • FramersForCruz

just because a water hazard isn’t marked with yellow or red stakes doesn’t mean you can act like it isn’t a hazard. It is called knowing the rules and having the integrity and honesty to hold yourself accountable. Killary has none and expects you to have none as well.

  • Dan Shoop

Has Granholm been consulting with Mia Farrow again?

  • Kopernicus

If you are confused by what is classified and what is not, and what electronic devices are personal and which are not, you should not be in charge of the US nuclear triad.

Note how the next batches of e-mails are after Iowa, NH and SC primaries.

  • Gunnhild4

Mrs Clinton was well aware that certain content, whether marked C for classified or NC, non-classified, or certain words, string of words, or phrases and/or clauses, are assumed and deemed classified, top secret, confidential by national security protocols. Anyone with any level of clearance is instructed and must abide with those mandates to keep and retain that clearance. If Mrs Clinton and her staff were that ignorant and uneducated in this most fundamental policy in having and dealing with clearance level material, then she is either naturally stupid, willfully ignorant, or outrightly contemptuous of our national interest and security.

  • WillyPs

I guess we can remove Granholm’s name from the list of those qualified to be a future Secretary of State. And even the Vox article (gasp) gets it wrong. Classified material isn’t secret because of some arbitrary marking indicating classification, it is a secret because of the potentially damaging nature of the information. Secrets are ‘born secret’ because they need to be kept secret. Anyone who works in any govt position should know that. And as the head of the state dept., Clinton, of all people, should have known this.

And it defies commonsense to think that anyone would think keeping a private server in your basement, or hiring a firm without a top secret security clearance to manage a server, would be ok. It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever to do so unless you are trying to hide your activities from public scrutiny.

  • icallshenanigans

These stupid people are making me crazy!!! No documents are marked “CLASSIFIED” across the top…the nomenclature given to the info contained in the document (TOP SECRET, et al) is what makes it “classified” material. Clinton is just playing the word salad game and the “herd” mentality she relies on is just bleating the same old BS.

  • snapper451

Granholm may go down as the stupidest descendant of Eve.
