On Tuesday, Iran seized a Marshall Islands-flagged ship, claiming it entered Iranian waters. In spite of the U.S. having a security and defense treaty with the Marshall Islands, the Obama administration says they have “no obligation to come to the defense of a Marshall Islands-flagged vessel at sea seized ship.” The administration obviously doesn’t want any dealbreakers in their prized nuke talks with Tehran.
Jonah Goldberg sees where there’s money to be made:
Man, I wish I had Marshall Islands in the "which ally will Obama alienate next?" pool. Huge payoff.

Missed opportunity!
@JonahNRO I don't know, might've been the only ally left.

@JonahNRO Alex I'll take "What ally will Obama Piss Off Next" for $600. #jeopardy

@JonahNRO Actually the odds aren't so good recently because we have so few allies left.

@JonahNRO MI is also an ally where we have explicit defense obligations. Taiwan must feel comfortable right now.

That’s just a joke, right? Right?

@cerenomri Shocked that Russia would see Obama do nothing after aggression against Marshall Islands and test him in Alaska. @OptimisticCon
