Thoughts and prayers go out to @AdrianPeterson and his family. What kind of sad excuse for a human could beat a child…
— Amanda Rabon (@AmandaMRabon) October 11, 2013
However, on the minds of many was the effect the horrible beating of a child would have on … fantasy football teams.

Someone attacked Adrian Peterson's 2 year old son. That guy must take fantasy football WAY too seriously. What a monster.
— Teddy Foster (@TeddyFoster50) October 11, 2013
Fantasy Owners: I wouldn't expect Adrian Peterson to play Sunday vs Panthers due to the critical condition of his 2 year old son.
— Ryan Ayscue (@RyanAyscue) October 11, 2013
I hear Adrian Peterson's son is in critical condition and my first thought is about my fantasy team. #BadPerson… But he's still in right?
