Heh: Jake Tapper offers Carly Rae Jepsen possible reason for comfort after horrible first pitch at Rays game

Yesterday, Carly Rae Jepsen, the singer of “Call Me Maybe” fame, threw out the first pitch at a Tampa Bay Rays game. The throw was more of a grounder from the mound to somewhere in between first and home:

Or, as President Obama might refer to that pitch, “not too bad!”

CNN’s always helpful Jake Tapper brought up a possible point that might comfort Jepsen depending on the answer: Given the Rays poor attendance this year, maybe not many people saw it:

Ha! Nice try, Jake, but according to the box score there were over 21,000 in attendance.
