Admiral Apologizes to All of Europe for the Embarrassment That Is JD Vance

I reported recently on Rep. Jasmine Crockett challenging people to name one thing Vice President J.D. Vance was up to as Elon Musk held court in the Oval Office. A few seconds on Google would have told her that Vance was in Paris giving a speech on America's leadership in artificial intelligence, and then in Munich at the Munich Security Conference, where he gave a kick-ass speech calling out Europe for being petty tyrants and criminalizing freedom of speech. Vance used as an example something I've covered a few times — people being arrested in the United Kingdom for praying silently outside of abortion clinics. England is also eager to arrest people over Facebook posts that cause other people anxiety.

Vance triggered a lot of people, such as Germany's defense minister, Boris Pistorius, who said, “If I understood him correctly, he is comparing conditions in parts of Europe with those in authoritarian regimes. That is unacceptable, and it is not the Europe and not the democracy in which I live and am currently campaigning.” Sen. Christopher Murphy posted a thread about how Vance's speech was "frightening bulls**t." The only one who seems to have interpreted it correctly is Victor Davis Hanson, who said Europeans rejected his message because “they're the international version of the Democrats."

Admiral Mike Franken, who unsuccessfully ran for the Senate in 2022, apologized to Europe on behalf of all of us.

Europe is the embarrassment. Scotland, under its hate speech law, will prosecute you if you "criticize migrants." As I reported, as the Munich Security Conference was going on, a 24-year-old Afghan "asylum seeker" rammed his car into the crowed city center of Munich, killing a 2-year-old.

The BBC has a headline today reading, "Man denies religious offence over burning of Quran." What the headline doesn't mention is that a man named Moussa Kadri slashed him with a knife. Guess who's in more legal trouble?

I don't care if it makes me racist … I like Western Civilization and applaud Vance for inviting Europe to rejoin it.

I admit I was a little worried about President Trump picking Vance as his running mate … I was afraid Vance would be considered too young. But seeing Vance in action — putting both Margaret Brennan and Europe in their place — is astonishing.

I still worry that Vance might be seen as too young in 2028, but I have nothing but praise for his work so far. Don't apologize to Europe on my behalf, thanks very much.
