We’ve seen people make accusations based on tattoos before … it cost former fact-checker Talia Lavin her job when she misidentified a tattoo on a disabled veteran’s arm and suggested that he was a Nazi. Now Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is out to show that gun manufacturers are affiliated with white supremacists by point out the tattoo on the QAnon Shaman’s chest.
On Wednesday, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform held a hearing with gun manufacturers called, “Examining the Practices and Profits of Gun Manufacturers.” As ABC News reported, AR-15 sales, and thus revenue, are way up, partly to do with manufacturers appealing to “manhood” (according to the House committee’s investigation).
On Wednesday, Ocasio-Cortez asked the CEO of Daniel Defense if he recognized the tattoo of a man featured in one of their advertisements (although the picture’s cropped so it doesn’t look like an ad at all). That tattoo, the expert claims, is being adopted by white supremacist groups.

Unfortunately her acting skills could still use some sharpening. Notice how whenever she pretends to ask the gun manufacturers a question and they start to answer, she immediately cuts them off? Her portrayal of a talented debater is completely unbelievable.

Not to get twisted up too much here, but we have been told by these same "experts" that the letter Z is a white supremacist symbol. So…is this symbol as "obvious" an example as that?

We’ve been assured that the “OK” hand signal is also a white supremacist signal, but only if it’s a conservative doing it. See?

So she couldn’t show the whole ad from his company?

An ad that wasn’t even a DD ad. 🤡

Here's a link to some Daniel Defense videos that are out there. There's a ton of them. I went through their website too. If someone found a SINGLE pic of a guy w/a valknut tatoo, it's a pretty big stretch to tie the company to white supremacy. https://t.co/2VaQXJO52N

Ignorant @RepAOC @AOC should have studied more out of bars. Origin of a Valknut tattoo goes back to Germanic citizens. These people used this symbol of Valknut to give tribute to people who had passed away, specifically those who had passed away in a full-fledged war or battle.

Even the ADL says not to assume that the tattoo is racist pic.twitter.com/Mcl6wRS3sV

Valknut is not a hate symbol. The entire discussion is silly.

One of the most un-dignifying things in life is to watch a clearly unintelligent/uninformed person attempt to outsmart people of even average intelligence or knowledge. She just brings to mind an 7yr old lecturing their mother on the correct way to prepare taxes.

When everything is associated with white supremacy… nothing is white supremacy.
