This one hurts. Samantha Bee has announced that “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” won’t be returning to TBS this fall. (That’s kind of sneaky, though; it leaves open the door that another network might pick it up.) This certainly can’t be because of ratings — it’s just that with President Joe Biden in the White House there’s just nothing to make fun of anymore. We’ll admit, “Full Frontal” was mildly entertaining in that it was a weekly show trying to tackle the news of the day, which made the comedy even more stale. Now where will we turn for a progressive look at politics? We mean, where?

Fun fact about Sam Bee — the first time I met her (before she started doing bits and videos about me) was at The Blaze. I asked her if she wanted to discuss firearms and she high-tailed it to her dressing room and shut the door leaving her producer to tell me to make an appt.
