Rep. Eric Swalwell apologizes to House GOP that parishioners in Laguna Woods 'hog tied your boy'

We went off on a mini-rant recently in a post about Rep. Eric Swalwell — ever since his presidential campaign crashed and burned and his affair with a Chinese spy was outed, he’s become a particularly nasty Twitter troll. We used to think Rep. Ted Lieu was about as bad as it could get, but we think Swalwell believes he’s onto something here — maybe if he can build up a big enough extremist follower base he can try again for president in 2024.

As Twitchy reported earlier, a 68-year-old Asian man from Las Vegas opened fire at a church in Laguna Woods, and the victims were “mostly Asian and mostly of Taiwanese descent.” Churchgoers managed to detain the suspect by hog-tying him with extension cords.

Laguna Woods church shooter was upset by political tensions between China and Taiwan. Was U.S. citizen who had emigrated from China (had lived in U.S. for many years). Had grievance with Taiwanese community. Shooting was politically motivated.

Swalwell decided to respond to a tweet by Shannon Watts by tagging the House GOP:

Seriously? This is a U.S. congressman?

He's allegedly a Chinese man, who targeted Taiwanese people.

So, he's your boy.

The suspect is a man from China who the FBI has opened a hate crime investigation into because he allegedly targeted the parishioners based on their Taiwanese identity. Given your past personal connections to a Chinese Communist spy, it's more likely the suspect was "your boy."
