Washington Post on Elon Musk: 'To truly have free speech today, you need moderation'

It’s not difficult to find out how the Jeff Bezos-owned Washington Post feels about Elon Musk offering to buy Twitter for some $43 billion. Just a quick scroll down their Twitter timeline shows that, like so many journalists, they see it as a threat. Musk has offered to make the algorithms used to moderate Twitter public, but that’s not enough, says the Post.

Elizabeth Dwoskin writes Monday that “technologists” have “clapped back” at the idea of Musk’s free-speech utopia.
