Things have gotten way out of hand with the hysteria over the Parental Rights in Education bill in Florida. We think the most extreme example we’ve seen so far is the “Star Trek” actor who thought that passage of the “violent” bill would lead to another Pulse nightclub shooting. If everyone could just take a breath, here’s the “Don’t Say Gay” section of the bill as it stands now:
Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.
Again, we’re more interested in opponents of the legislation arguing for why kindergarteners have to be taught about sexual orientation and gender identity; seriously, if there are parents so desperate to have this happen, there are children’s books they can buy.
We were going to let this next tweet slide, but then we saw he has a blue check, and then we saw in his bio that he’s an opinion columnist for USA Today. In short, he doesn’t believe in God, but he got a kick out of a tornado hitting the home of the author of the bill.
I'm not a believer, but the tornado that just ripped apart the home of the author of Florida's "Don't Say Gay" law is making me reconsider.

Yep. We can tell you are not a believer. A true believer would never think such a thing, much less make the statement public.

Rooting for someone to be harmed because teachers shouldn't be talking to young children about sex is about as evil as you can get.

You'd be a perfect candidate for joining Westboro Baptist Church.

That’s an interesting God who only lets bad things happen to bad people.
So did God bitch-slap the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting, too?
